UAB Report Photographs 1976-1985.

This series consists of copies of every UAB Report issued from 1976 through 1985 along with photographs that appeared in each issue. The series is arranged chronologically by the issue date. The photographs document all aspects of UAB including faculty, staff, and students; events and activites; visitors to campus; and academic and athletic programs. The photographs are all in black and white.

The UAB Report was established in 1976 to offer news and information of interest to faculty and employees of the University of Alabama in Birmingham. The UAB Report supplanted several university publications including On Tap, Intercom, and University College Newssheet. Since its inception, the Report has been produced in tabloid format and has served both the Academic Health Center and Academic Affairs. William M.
